Blue Christmas, a special worship service for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one this holiday season, will be held at Emmanuel on Wednesday evening, December 20 at 7:00. While Christmastime is a time of great joy for so many, it can also carry a heavy load of grief for those who, for the first time, will not have a loved one with whom to celebrate.

The Blue Christmas service helps one to worship in the spirit of Christmas Eve, in the midst of loss and be surrounded by many others experiencing this same sense of emptiness. The liturgy, prayers, music, scripture and message will help to provide a sense of hope and courage in facing the Christmas holiday. If you are struggling with this, come.
