Graduating Seniors - Please let the church office know that you are graduating from high school, college or a trade school. A short biography of your recent school activities and your plans for the future should be provided. Forms to fill out are available on the table in the narthex and outside the church office, or you can contact the church office and a form will be sent to you. Please submit your information by Monday, May 20 for inclusion in the June newsletter.

Free Donuts! Emmanuel will be participating in the Adopt a City Street program on Saturday, May 11 at 9:00 a.m. (weather permitting). Please sign up on the sheets near the church entrances. Come and help clean up our street and enjoy some donuts!

Food Offering Weekend is next weekend – please try and remember to bring a non-perishable food item along with your regular offering. These items go to the Salem Food Pantry.

Volunteer sign-up sheets are in the narthex. You may sign up to greet, or help with communion or be a reader. Please sign up if you can help out.

Help us help them! The Salem Police Department gives out $10.00 McDonald’s gift cards to people who stop in and are in need of a meal. Emmanuel can help out both the Salem Police Department and people in need by collecting the gift cards. $10.00 McDonald gift cards may be placed in the offering plate or dropped off at the church office.

Facebook - Emmanuel now has an active Facebook page for church members to follow. You will find service schedules, links for YouTube weekly services videos and Pastor Alan’s sermon each week. Be sure to use the Facebook page with Jesus’ face as the profile picture. (There are two other Emmanuel Lutheran Salem Facebook pages that are not active.)
