this will be the last letter that I will be writing for a newsletter.
As many of you have heard, my husband has been transferred to the GM
Toledo plant. With my many responsibilities, I will be working through
the end of March to help the church have a smooth transition with my
position no longer being in place. We have found several volunteers who
are willing to help in certain areas. I want to thank those volunteers
who have been willing to help. Their time is truly appreciated!
I have met so many wonderful people
in my time at Emmanuel and I am truly going to miss being here, our
church family, and my position here. I don't know what God has in store
for our family, but I can say that Emmanuel Lutheran Church will always
hold a special place in my heart!

This year we will have Easter bags for the children on Easter Sunday.
If you would like to donate candy or other items for our Easter Bags,
it would be greatly appreciated. Please place your donations in the
Family Ministry Bins located in the narthex and by the church office. I
would like to receive all donations no later than Sunday, March 17.

Elderberries Coffee Hour
- The Elderberries will meet this month for a "Coffee Hour.” Join
us on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. for refreshments and
Worship (for ages 18 months through 2nd grade) takes place Sunday
morning during the 10:30 worship service (after the Children’s Message)
in the Church Nursery. We have an age appropriate Bible lesson, a
craft, and playtime. Join us for the fun! Parents are always welcome to
come down and get their children to participate with them in communion.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s library provides Christian resources for all
generations. Our library's books, periodicals, and DVDs, are available
for the spiritual strengthening of individuals and families. Members at
Emmanuel may check out these resources for use at home.

you feel more comfortable exercising in a small group? Do you want
to improve your flexibility, strength, and balance? Then, our
Fitness Ministry (sponsored by our Elderberries) is for you!
All are welcome to join us! We meet at 10:00 a.m. for Chair
Exercises on the following days:
Monday, March 4 and 11
Friday, March 1 and 8
Please remember that if Salem Schools are on a two hour delay or
closed, the Fitness Ministry programs are cancelled.
